~ Ryan passed away peacefully at home on December 27. He went quickly and there was no suffering. He was talking and smiling clear up until the moment Jesus took him. He kept telling me, "Mom, I'm OK". And that he was. He knew he was going home.~ It is really hard because we miss him so much. I know where he is and he is happy, and pain free. No more suffering and no more pain. He was ready. He battled for almost 11 years and always with a huge smile on his face. He was such an inspiration to me and to others as well. Ryan always kept his positive attitude and his huge smile no matter how bad he felt. Right up until the moment he left us, he was making plans for things he wanted to do. He was so full of life.~ For everyone still battling I can speak for Ryan and say he would not want you to be sad for him because he won his battle. He would want you to continue fighting and keep your positive attitude and put it in the Lords hands. It is not goodbye, just see you later. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers. You have touched our lives in a way we could never forget. We love you all and please know we are doing OK because we know Ryan is where he wanted to be. He is not really gone he is in all of our hearts for eternity.God Bless,Machelle |
